Sweden
Learn about the winter traditions of the Dark Ages while enjoying a Viking inspired Christmas gin and playing Skokastning, a giggle-inducing game involving tossing shoes (safely)! Non drinkers can enjoy a 0% gin and tonic with homemade fig syrup
-
Chile
From the ancient Mapuche to modern-day Catholic traditions, Chile has some fascinating winter traditions. Guest get to enjoy a delicious Cola de Mono, a variation on eggnog (boozy or booze-free) while playing Luces Y Sombras, a hilarious blindfold game of trust.
-
Japan
Christmas in Japan is a modern tradition with its own quirky customs. Guests will enjoy a delicate Japanese Gin and Umeshu cocktail (or a refreshing yuzu and ginger mocktail) before testing their reflexes in Karuta, a fast-paced card game that’s as competitive as it is entertaining.

Britain
The Victorians adored parlor games at Christmas time, from clever wordplay to lively party challenges. We’ll be keeping that festive spirit alive with a fun memory game, while serving up a warming glass of mulled gin, or a spiced alcohol-free version for non-drinkers.
About us
I’m Simon Sharp, that’s me sitting down posing with a cocktail I’m not drinking and a book that I’m not reading.
I host public and corporate tastings and talks all over the UK and beyond. I live for good conversation over a martini. I’m also an experienced spirits judge, lending my time and taste buds to Great Taste Awards, Spirits Business ‘Ginmasters’, The Gin Guide and Scottish Gin Awards.
Sometimes I pop up in a radio show or newspaper talking about the history of drinking. I also curated and hosted the London Craft Gin Cruise, and founded a gin subscription service. Neither of which exist at present, but I had a lovely time and met delightful people so consider them a success. l live in Greater Manchester with a brilliant wife, a charming cat and, at time of writing, some fruit flies.
